As summer begins to wind down, the Los Alamos County Recreation Department is gearing up once again for the 41st Annual Triathlon to be held Saturday, Aug. 15, as well as the 22nd Annual Kids’ Triathlon taking place Sunday, Aug. 16.
These amazing events rely heavily on the generous support of community volunteers to guide and support racers along the course.
If you are interested in participating as a helper for either of these days, stop by the Walkup Aquatic Center and fill out a volunteer form (available at the front desk), or email Joseph Harris at joseph.harris@lacnm.us for a copy of the form.
The work hours are 6-9:30 a.m., Saturday (with lunch provided at the end of the race), and 12 to 3 p.m., Sunday.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
