With dry months ahead, now is the perfect time to rethink using and conserving water. From 6-7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) invites the public to a free virtual talk on Graywater and Rainwater Harvesting.

This engaging Virtual talk via Zoom will cover how to safely and efficiently harvest graywater from sinks, showers, and laundry machines, as well as rainwater collected from rooftops. Learn how these sustainable systems can help keep gardens and landscapes thriving while reducing dependence on municipal water supplies.

From simple DIY projects to more advanced commercial setups, the presentation will offer practical, New Mexico-friendly solutions that meet state water-use regulations.
