Kiwanis Club Of Los Alamos 4th Of July Celebration

KIWANIS News:

The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos has taken possession of a massive collection of pyrotechnics and is getting ready for the big show Monday night. All are welcome to Overlook Park to share in this time of celebration together on the 4th of July.

The fireworks display, led by Pat Soran will be fantastic – that goes without saying. We also feature the return of the Habenaro Sky Diving team led by Roger Handrahan. We hope to see the big flag unfurled as he descends on the field as the sun is getting low.

The huge collection of bouncy toys will be running by 2 p.m. provided by Ton-O-Fun. Atomic City will be provided free transit from Los Alamos and in White Rock by 4 p.m.. There will be plenty of great food and fun for everyone.

Outlaw 107.5 will be onsite providing music until the Community Winds kicks off the live music at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., the crowd will be treated to hometown honky-tonk hero Sim Balkey.

You won’t want to pass on a chance for the “Best Seat in the House” drawing held at 8:15 p.m. The winner will get to watch the show from the firing line. Plan to join us and help support your local community along the way. A $5 donation is requested at the event. Children 12 and under are free.
