Kids Concert By Award-Winning Composer Frank Leto Jan. 28-29

Award-winning composer and early childhood educator Frank Leto and the National Hispanic Cultural Center, presents a special children’s concert at 9:30 p.m., and 11 a.m., Thursday and Friday, Jan. 28 and 29, in the NHCC’s Albuquerque Journal Theatre.

Frank Leto has a calm and natural way with children, inspiring them to move expressively and sing along joyfully with his original compositions.
 
Teachers, parents and students will participate enthusiastically in Frank’s multicultural, interactive music—fun for young and old alike!
 
With live music, accompanied by dances by Pilar Leto, this concert offers an enriching hour of learning and entertainment.
 
Frank has produced ten children’s CDs and four DVDs; two of his CDs have won National Educator’s Awards and his DVD collection has been endorsed by the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media.
 
He is also well known for his “Roots of Jazz” presentation through NM Jazz Workshop, which brings music, culture, and entertainment to public schools in the Albuquerque area.
