June 4-8 is National CPR/AED Awareness Week

As part of National CPR/AED Awareness Week, Leeanne Sanchez and Melanie Chapman will present the latest information related to learning to use CPR and an AED.
 
Sanchez is a longtime trainer with the American Red Cross and Chapman is the Wellness Director at the Family YMCA.
 
This informative review of what people need to know in order to assist someone experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest or other heart-related emergencies is at 1 p.m. Friday, June 8 in the downstairs classroom at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.
 

Hand-outs on the Chain of Survival, Y information on CPR/AED/First Aid classes, a short video, a demonstration of hands-only CPR and more will be provided during this event, which is sponsored by the Los Alamos Heart Council.
