New Mexico medical students could be eligible for scholarship funds available from the John and Willie Mae Helm Scholarship Fund and the Los Alamos/Rio Arriba Medical Society.
Students are eligible to apply if they lived the majority of their lives in Los Alamos or Rio Arriba county and are enrolled at or are entering this fall an accredited US allopathic or osteopathic medical school.
Candidates need to return the completed application form, a copy of their medical school transcript (or last semester of college if entering in the fall), and a letter describing their medical interests and activities.
