ALBUQUERQUE ― On Saturday May 21, former U.S. Senator and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will campaign for Hillary Clinton across the state of New Mexico.
Salazar will launch New Mexico’s Hispanics for Hillary at Abuelita’s New Mexican Kitchen, convene a roundtable with Hispanic business leaders, and kick off a grassroots get out the vote events with Rep. Ben Ray Luján in Santa Fe, Espanola and Taos as he encourages voters to vote early in the Democratic Presidential Primary.
This effort to reach New Mexico voters kicks off the same day as early voting begins across the state. Absentee voting has been going on since May 10. Voters who did not request absentee ballots but are interested in voting early may do so in person at their County Clerk Office or at other early voting locations.
