Final Update Tonight On Fire In Los Alamos Canyon

Los Alamos Firefighters made good progress by sundown today on the fire in Los Alamos Canyon.
 
Firefighters are mopping up and will be monitoring throughout the night the area where an approximately 3-acre fire ignited about 4:30 p.m. today near the Canyon Rim Trailhead east of N.M. 502 and across from the Co+op Market and Holiday Inn Express.
 
This will be the last update this evening.
