The Los Alamos Farmers’ Market will set up shop 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21 in the Los Alamos Library Parking lot on Central Avenue.
What’s in store this week:
Certified organic seeds, vegetable starts, dried chile pods, and lettuce bowls, vegetable and flower starts, potted plants and flowers, hanging plants, also native plants and starts.
Lavender body and soap products, goat soaps, fabulous fresh pork, ungraded eggs and pecans, spinach, salad greens, green onions kettle corn, dried apples, applewood, apple cider, hot cider, tea breads, jams and jellies, beets, turnips, garlic, breakfast burritos, herbs.
Local fresh honey, and honey sticks for the kids. Herb and fruit breads, muffins, personal size pizzas, cinnamon buns, tea breads, calzones, focaccia, sauces, gluten free pastries & breads, fresh ungraded eggs, quiche, pies, tarts, cinnamon buns, pin wheels, coffee cakes, breads.
Crumpacker’s is back. So is Andre Kemptons breads, breakfast treats, and pizza. Also Revolution Bakery – gluten free bake goods. As well as Old Windmill Dairy, with goat cheese spreads and cow cheeses.
Each week more farmers are coming into the market as the season progresses.
