Europe 2018 Coffee Sales Today and Friday

COMMUNITY News:

“Calling all coffee drinkers and supporters of educational travel!
Europe 2018 will be selling their Free Trade, organic coffee from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Today and Friday April 13 in the lobby of LANB.

Coffee is $13 for a 10 oz. bag, whole bean or ground in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Decaf. Travelers get half of the proceeds. If you love kids, coffee, or travel, stop by LANB to support these amazing local graduates as they celebrate the end of high school and learn all about Italy, Germany, and Prague.

Europe 2018 travelers are especially looking forward to experiencing the ancient history of Rome, the awe of the Sistine Chapel, the art of Florence, the magnificence of the Austrian Alps, the eye-opening power of Dachau, and the rich background of Prague. www.eftours.com/ 2025088ze

The 12 travelers of Europe 2018 are busy finishing up their senior year filled with leadership, scholarship, and service. They include: honored athletes, scholarship winners, student leaders, active church members, committed dancers, choir and band members, lifelong friends, and good neighbors. As active members of our community, they hope to develop a global perspective during their 11 days in Europe that will help them as they start college.
Stop by LANB Thursday or Friday afternoon to sample some coffee, talk to the travelers, and buy a bag of coffee or make a direct donation to the group. If you cannot make it to LANB but would like to purchase coffee, please contact Lynn Ovaska at lynnovaska@gmail.com

As with the six past tours, Mrs. Ovaska is honored to travel with these amazing students just after graduation. “I feel very fortunate to help teens expand their world view and begin to see themselves as part of a global society.  And I am especially grateful for the continued outpouring of local support to help Los Alamos graduates to step out into the world.”
