We all know not to drive drunk, drugged or distracted, but what about driving drowsy? The Governors Highway Safety Association issued a new report in collaboration with State Farm titled Wake Up Call!
Understanding Drowsy Driving and What States Can Do, highlights the dangers associated with driving tired. Among them: drowsy driving can closely mimic drunk driving, 10-20 percent of large truck and bus crashes involve fatigued drivers, and society loses $109 billion annually due to drowsy driving crashes.
