SPIRITUALITY News:

Good News Clubs begin next week in Los Alamos elementary schools:
  • Mondays beginning Sept. 14: Aspen (Dining Hall) and Mountain (room 102, Mrs. O’Brien’s room)
  • Tuesdays beginning Sept. 15: Barranca (music room) and Pinon (science lab, room 601)
  • Thursdays, beginning Sept. 17: Chamisa (music room)

The Good News Clubs are free interdenominational Bible Clubs that meet once a week, right after school until 5 p.m., starting in mid September and run through the end of April, except for holidays, snow days, parent conference days, and days when after-school activities are canceled due to weather.

The fun Clubs feature Bible and missionary stories, songs, snacks, Scripture memory, contests and prizes.

Parents who did not receive a flyer/registration form in the “backpack mail” can call Pam Prichard at 505.661.6133, or email her at prprichard46@gmail.com.

Also, the Eternal Encouragement (E-Squared) Clubs meet at Los Alamos Middle School at lunchtime Thursdays, beginning Sept. 17. Seventh grade meets in Mrs. Fogle’s room, 168, and eighth grade in Mr. Brousseau’s room, 258.

Students bring their lunches, and dessert will be provided each week. Local youth pastors Travis Knapp and Jeremy Elam, and Young Life Director Ryan Gilbert take turns leading E-Squared.
