Dusk to Dawn Gown Rentals is now catering to high school girls looking for the perfect prom dress.

Dusk to Dawn’s owner, Dawn Brown, wanted to make it possible for women to wear fabulous designer dresses without having to pay designer prices. She has more than 500 designer dresses and gowns in stock. Many would cost more than $500 to buy, but can be rented for just $20-130.

Brown and her daughters love fashion. Brown has a degree in fashion design from Bauder College in Arlington, Texas and has more than 15 years of experience in fashion and retail management. She and her daughters frequently travel to shop for new gowns to add to their collection … which means their clients have a greater selection to choose from.

“We have dresses that appeal to all ages,” Brown said. “You can rent them for balls, galas and any other special occasion.”

Brown’s personal touch makes the experience of trying on gorgeous gowns even more special. She has been known to serve great mimosas, wonderful southern iced tea and sweet and savories, which leave clients knowing that all of their fashion needs and desires have been fulfilled.

Make an appointment by emailing dusktodawnrentals@gmail.com or call 505.709.0167. Clients can choose to have a selection of dresses in their size (they carry junior size 0 to women’s size 24) brought to their home, or they can visit Dawn’s home.

They also can visit their pop-up boutique at 1793 Deacon St. in Los Alamos. The hours are 2:30-6:30 p.m. Fridays, noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays by appointment.

Everyone who schedules an appointment before March 25 will save 10 percent and be entered in a drawing to win a free makeover or prom hair appointment from Venusto Salon.

Coming in the spring of 2016 – Dusk to Dawn’s Mobile Boutique

When Brown read about how microbusinesses operating out of vintage trailers were popping up everywhere, but especially in California. She loved the idea and decided to name her 1964 Safari Airstream “Poppy,” and transform it into Dusk to Dawn’s mobile boutique.

When a client steps into Poppy for their customized boutique appointment they will step into 19 feet of lush comfort and bliss. For more information, visit here.
