The Eco-Station reported that, after launching the new glass recycling initiative last weekend, they’ve already received two tons of glass for processing. They’re now busy using the new equipment to crush the glass, which can be used in a variety of projects, including landscaping. Call the Eco-station at 662-8163 to find out “when” they may have enough of the crushed glass available for public pick-up FREE.

Opening day at the Rink is expected to be Tuesday, Nov. 13. The Recreation Division is already busy preparing the facility, hiring and training staff, and ensuring everything is in place for another excellent season of skating at the Rink.
