Co-op Rocks!

LOS ALAMOS COOPERATIVE MARKET News

Co-opRocks! is brought to you by the Los Alamos Co-op as part of their outreach program to young adults (high school and college age). The program is intended to provide young adults a venue to express their interests (music, art, theater, etc.) in a fun and safe atmosphere. General Manager, Steve Watts said, “We strive to share our cooperative values through this venue by sourcing local talent and encouraging young adults and the community to come support each other at Co-opRocks!”

The 5 hours will be filled with a variety of activities, which reflect young adult interests. This event is the first in the Co-opRocks! series and will focus on local music. Co-opRocks will have a main music/performance space in the UNM-LA Student Union Building as well as activities on the patio.

This event would not be possible without the support of many people and groups including: Los Alamos Teen Center, Art Club, Anime Club, Student Council, Environmental Club, Northern New Mexico Electric Vehicle Association, and more!
