PEEC News:

Classic Air Medical will bring their rescue helicopter to the Los Alamos Nature Center at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, as part of PEEC’s Summer Family Evenings program, sponsored by Del Norte Credit Union. The helicopter will touch down in the nature center parking lot.

PEEC’s Summer Family Evenings have been going strong in 2015. Los Alamos families have enjoyed wolves, rattlesnakes, baby goats and more at these Wednesday evening events.

For July 22nd, the wildland fire fighters were scheduled to bring their fire engine, but they’ve been called away to fight fires in other states. Classic Air Medical was happy to step in to show their helicopter and to let kids know how rescues happen in the wilderness.

For over 26 years, Classic Air Medical has been providing air medical transport in the states of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, New Mexico and Wyoming. They recently opened a new base in Los Alamos.

Summer Family Evenings are free for PEEC members, or $5 per family for non-members. No registration is required.
