Faces of Lannan Exhibit Opening Reception 4:30 p.m. at Mesa Public Library
The exhibit comprises photographs of 70 guest speakers from the acclaimed Readings and Conversations Series presented by the Lannan Foundation. Celebrated native New Mexican photographer Don Usner has been making portraits of Lannan Foundation guest speakers since 1997. Lecture by photographer Don Usner 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov 21 at Mesa Public Library.

Galactic Frontiers – Out of this World 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Fuller Lodge
Los Alamos Historical Society event. New Mexico has made enormous contributions to space travel. Loretta Hall’s book From 1930 to 2010: Out of this World in 80 Years, tells human and technological stories of space research in New Mexico that brought this country from the earliest liquid-fuel rockets to the world’s first purpose-built commercial spaceport. Ms. Hall and Roger Weins of Los Alamos National Laboratory will sign books after the lecture.
