Los Alamos County and Boutique Air are offering travelers the chance to win a free round trip flight between Los Alamos Airport and Albuquerque’s Sunport if they enter their name in an online only drawing between Jan. 22 and Feb. 4.
It’s all part of the “Such a Sweet Deal” promotion intended to encourage travelers to avoid the hassles of driving and parking at Sunport when they can travel in style in Boutique’s modern Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. With amenities designed to make the flying experience as comfortable as it gets, the PC-12 features reclining leather seats in an executive configuration, power outlets, a pressurized cabin, enclosed lavatory, and a top speed of 300 mph. The Pilatus can make the beautiful flight from LAM to ABQ in thirty minutes, and travelers park for free at the local airport.
The drawing is limited to ages 18 years or older. Rules and a chance to enter the drawing can be found here – users will be asked to complete an entry form, where they will be asked to submit name, e-mail address and mailing address. Winners will be notified by e-mail and all entries will automatically be signed up to receive future issues of the Fly Los Alamos newsletter, which keeps travelers informed of important changes to flight schedule offerings, future promotions or new flights and options being offered by Boutique Air.
Three winners will be drawn and notified by e-mail on Feb. 5. Round Trip vouchers will be mailed to the winning entries and available to use through March 31. Anyone who has already signed up for the Fly Los Alamos newsletter is automatically entered to win.
Service between LAM and ABQ launched in November 2015. Boutique has a ticket agent on site at Los Alamos Airport to check passengers in for their flights and check their baggage.
LANL business travelers can book flights using Concur, the Laboratory’s on line travel system, using the designator LAM for Los Alamos Municipal airport and ABQ for Albuquerque Sunport. No security check is needed at the Los Alamos airport. Parking at the Los Alamos airport is free and Route 2 of Atomic City Transit serves the airport terminal. The Albuquerque Boutique Air gate is located on level 2 at Sunport, outside of the main TSA security. Passengers connecting to all other airlines are required to pass through security.
The agreement between Los Alamos and Boutique has a one year term and the option to renew for two additional one year terms.
