Bjorkland is Best Predictor in First Pace Race of Season

 
Lynn Bjorkland was the top predictor in the opening pace race of the 2012 season held on the Canyon Rim Trail on the first Tuesday evening pace race of the 2012 season. The number of participants that showed up made for a successful event.
 
Lynn was 10 seconds off her predicted time and was also the 2nd fastest in the 3 mile run with a time of 23:50.
 
Other accurate predictors were:  Bob Weeks with a 13 second differential, Roy Cope at 23 seconds off, and Michelle Jones 65 seconds off her prediction.
 
There were four distances run in the race and the fastest runners were:  8 year old Zac Jones 10:37 in the 1 mile, Pam Erickson with a 13:42 time in the 1.5 mile Cooper Run, David Kratzer at 18:13 in the 2 mile, and Nathan Romero coming in at 18:51 in the 3 mile.
