Ann Stewart Named Girls Basketball Head Coach

LAHS News:

Los Alamos High School Athletic Department announces that Ann Stewart has been named Head Coach of the Girls Basketball Program. 

In January of 2013, Stewart took over the Head Girls position on an interim basis after Coach Tarah Logan’s resignation. 

The team finished 17-13 overall and 5-3 in district and the girls earned a trip to the State Tournament. 

They defeated Deming in the first round before losing to the State Champion Los Lunas in the quarterfinals of the State Tournament. 

Coach Stewart, a graduate of Los Alamos High School, was the head girls basketball coach at Bloomfield High School from 2004-07, the mid school girls basketball coach for Los Alamos Middle School in 1994-95 and an assistant girls’ basketball coach at Eldorado, Cibola and Alamogordo High School
