Ambassador Vicki Huddleston Lecture Thursday

Ambassador Vicki Huddleston
CIR News:
In support of the Center For Interantional Relations upcoming trip to Cuba, Ambassador Vicki Huddleston will offer her reflections on that beautiful, unique country during a talk at 5 p.m., Thursday in the CIR conference room (413 Grant Ave, Suite D) in Santa Fe.
Her talk will explore “The Long Struggle to Defeat Castro’s Revolution.” Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers, and are available here.
The CIR spectacular trip will depart for Cubu in March 2017 (in partnership with Engage Cuba and Cuba Educational Travel). Join us as the island finally opens up to US travel through educational exchange programs and people-to-people travel.
On this trip, CIR travelers will engage with Cuban citizens and experts to understand how Cuba—including its economy, trade, and politics—has evolved during the 55-year American embargo. We will spend much of our trip exploring the country’s historic and cultural landmarks, while also actively discussing its future prospects.
