ZIA CREDIT UNION News:

With most of us staying at home, we’ve been given the gift of time – time to be productive.

For those looking to shore up their knowledge about saving and budgeting, plus learn about some tools that can help, Zia Credit Union is offering a free program called Time For Change.

Anyone can do the program on their own time from the comfort of their home. It is not necessary to be a member of Zia Credit Union to take part in the program.

The online course begins April 20 and lasts five weeks. Each week participants receive an email with tips and ideas for budgeting and saving, followed by a quiz.

The weekly reading and quiz only takes about 30 minutes to complete, and the topics covered are budgeting basics, savings, credit, how to track your spending and what technology can help.

For one of the weeks, there is no quiz. Instead, participants are encouraged to set up Google spending tracker, a free tool to help with saving goals.

Registration is open for Time For Change through April 19, 2020. Register online at www.ziacu.org/timeforchange
