Meet Tato, a Hound/Pitbull mix approximately 1 year old and weighs 59lbs. Tato is a very kind and loyal dog who gets along well with females. He may take a few days to warm up to men and build trust, but once he does, he becomes a loving companion. Tato just needs someone patient and understanding to help him feel safe and secure. While he gets along with other dogs, he may not be suitable for homes with cats, as they might not be his friends. If you have room in your heart for a new fur baby, Los Alamos County Animal Shelter has several eligible pets ready to move in. Although they have younger animals, the shelter is also housing older cats and dogs that would love to share their golden years with you.
