SFO News:
Experience the incredible talent of the next generation of classical singers at the Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera Recital. This special performance showcases high school students from the Santa Fe Opera’s Young Voices program, an initiative dedicated to nurturing young talent in classical music. This event will also include an additional performance from program director, Amy Owens.
Young Voices in Recital will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 15, at Fuller Lodge. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Entrance is free and donations are accepted to fund the Young Voices trip to Carnegie Hall.
Founded in 2008, the program provides participants with professional voice lessons, musical coaching, and training in diction, music theory, and acting. Students also work with guest artists, attend cultural events, and gain invaluable performance experience. The program culminates in a free to the public recital, where dedicated young artists share their passion and hard work with the community.
