YMCA’s July 4th Kids’ Parade 10 a.m. at Ashley Pond

YMCA News:

Children who want to participate in the annual Family YMCA July 4th Kids’ Parade should meet at 10 a.m., at “the elephant” at Ashley Pond.

The Parade begins at 11 a.m. and will take the route of:

  • East on Central to 20th Street; turn left.
  • Follow 20th Street around Fuller Lodge and down Bathtub Row to Nectar. Turn Right.
  • Follow Nectar to 15th Street; turn Right.
  • End at the YMCA at 15th Street and Iris.

Once there, a flag raising ceremony will take place, conducted by members of American Legion Post 90. Upon conclusion of the flag raising, activities will be available for kids including bouncy houses, games, prizes and healthy snacks as well as hot dogs and watermelon.

The annual Family YMCA July 4th Kids’ Parade is made possible by generous sponsorships from Los Alamos National Bank and Los Alamos Medical Center.
