YMCA Fencing Class Starts in October

YMCA News:

New students are now being accepted for the Beginner Fencing Class starting in October. Ages 10 and up. (Next session starts February 2014.)

This course covers basic fencing strategies and footwork. The beginning/intermediate class is for participants with little or no experience. Instruction will cover use of the foil, epee strip rules, judging, and directing. The YMCA also has an advanced program for competitive fencers.

Class is 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays for Beginners and 7-8 p.m. for Advanced.

Cost is $40 per month / $20 for Y members.
