Yikes! Morning View Of Truchas Peaks!

Viewed from Eastern Area this morning in Los Alamos, snow is spotted on Truchas Peak, even though the first day of fall was marked just six days ago. Truchas Peak is the second highest peak in New Mexico, behind Wheeler Peak. It is in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and 26 miles northeast of Santa Fe. It lies within the Pecos Wilderness, part of the Santa Fe National Forest. Photo by Ron Roybal
