We’d love for you to come wuther with us for Los Alamos’ (and New Mexico’s!) first ever “The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever” (TMWHDE), 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at Ashley Pond Park. Please register in advance here.

Whilst we’re not hosting any more rehearsals, there are tutorial videos on our website here.

From the shorthand list of dance steps, also found on our website, the trickiest step to learn is “The Heathcliff”, a sequence of steps that gets repeated. We will walk through all the dance steps at least once (probably “The Heathcliff” twice!) on the morning of TMWHDE. Most important thing to remember about this event is to have fun!

TMWHDE is based on Kate Bush’s 1978 song, “Wuthering Heights” which in turn is based on Emily Brontë’s book of the same name. The idea originated with “Shambush’s The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience”, presented at the 2013 Brighton Fringe, an alternative arts and music festival in the United Kingdom. It is now a global phenomenon, and we’re bringing the TMWHDE to New Mexico!

Chloe & Marjorie are organizing this event with kind permission from our Wuthermuthers, Shambush, and global facilitator and organizer, Samantha Wareing.

If you would like more information about this event, please contact Marjorie or Chloe at 505.490.2992 or rocketmanartworks@gmail.com.
