Workshop: Provide AID, Prevent Suicide

Suicide is an often misunderstood cause of preventable and premature death. High School age teens interested in increasing their suicide awareness and learning about how to encourage others to seek help are invited to join in a talk and open discussion May 1 at the Teen Center. 

The one-hour workshop will focus on ways to provide A.I.D. (Ask, Intervene, Do) for someone who may be suicidal as well as resource referral. No registration required.

About the presenter: Elisa Enriquez, MSW, LISW, is currently an Ombuds Specialist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She previously worked as a counselor for the LANL EAP Office, as a private provider, and for the Los Alamos Family Council. She lives with her husband and two children in Los Alamos.
