NMDOT News:

CUBA — The bridge reconstruction project on US 550, in Cuba is resuming May 19.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District Six along with Siete Inc. (Contractor) will be working overnight (7 p.m. to 5 a.m.) on US 550 northbound and southbound between mile marker 64.2-64.7, through the end of May.

One lane of traffic will be open in each direction throughout the project and speed will be reduced to 35 miles an hour in the work zone. 

Drivers are reminded to use caution in the work zone, obey all posted signs and detours, reduce speed, and remain alert for construction personnel and equipment.
