The WIPP Emergency Operations Center was declared operational at 7:45 p.m. All WIPP personnel have been accounted for.
Underground personnel are staged at assembly area and accounted for. Radiation Control Technicians continue to conduct radiological surveys to validate no release has occurred. As a precaution, notifications to local ranchers and industry personnel have been completed.
