Windgate Healing Arts
Windgate Healing Arts, a wellness center in Los Alamos, is excited to announce the opening of our movement studio.
In addition to the world-class bodywork already available at Windgate, such as Hawaiian Lomilomi, Thai Yoga Massage, Ashiatsu barefoot massage, Reflexology, prenatal massage, and others, clients and members can now benefit from semi-private and private movement classes such as Yoga, Thai Chi, and Yoga Therapy.
We are proud to announce Stephanie Krantz will be joining our team of wellness professionals with classes starting Nov. 9.
Stephanie has spent the last nine years learning about functional ways to practice yoga. She has been trained in The Essential Low Back Program (ELBP), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS) levels 1 and 2, and spent countless hours training in restorative and therapeutic techniques. Stephanie’s teaching goal is to help people establish a sense of peace and gratitude for the body they bring to the mat.
In Stephanie’s functional yoga classes, students will look deeper into how their body responds to movement, where they have freedom, and where there is limitation. Students will use Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS) to relearn how to move safely from core stabilization to enhance diaphragmic breath work.
This class is especially great for beginners and people who are working through injuries. Classes will be a mixture of flow, restorative postures and breath work to create a sense of calm within our bodies.
Windgate Healing Arts is a COVID-safe certified business at 2101 Trinity Dr., Ste. Q in Los Alamos. Our movement studio will be offering only private (one-on-one) and semi-private (maximum of three students) classes. Class size is limited, so please register soon.
