Wilmot Is Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News: 

Zeke Wilmot was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Bayo Canyon Road at the bottom of Main Hill Road at 1 second off his predicted time.  Other accurate predictors were Felix Candia with a 3 second difference; Valerio Pinchetti recording 5 seconds off; Eric Anderson at 10 seconds off his prediction; and Lynn Bjorklund with a 12 second difference as well as the first female finisher in the 3-mile distance at 25:57. 

11-year-old Levi Gartz was the top finisher on the 1-mile course with a time of 8:17 and the best female was 7-year-old Ivana Velechovsky  recording a 13:06.

In the 2-mile distance Warren Scoggins finished first at 27:56 and Catherine Hensley was the top female coming in at 36:34.

Paul Geimer was the best finisher in the 3-mile distance recording a 20:07.

Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, on North Mesa just past the horse stables to the South of the rodeo arena by the rest rooms. 1-, 2-, and 3-mile courses will be available.
