COUNTY News:
The Los Alamos County Pavement Division will begin recycling and repaving work Monday, July 9 in White Rock.
The work is funded under the FY12 Pavement Preservation Program.
The following streets will be resurfaced:
In White Rock – Kilby, Donna, Garver, Connie, Cheryl, Cheryl Court, Cañada Way, Barcelona, Rover (from Carlsbad to Grand Canyon), Aragon (west of Rover), Azure and Shirlane.
Also, the following streets are scheduled for resurfacing in Los Alamos – Range Road and North Mesa Road (from Hawk Drive to just east of the Posse Lodge.)
Note: While the County anticipates recycling and repaving all the above streets, there is a possibility due to limited budget that some streets may require postponing until next fiscal year.
Door hangers will be delivered to residents providing 48 hours notice of milling and repaving operations on their street.
Residents are asked to not park vehicles in the roadway during the milling and paving operations.
Motorists should expect lane closures with flagging operations.
Limited access and minor delays should be expected.
Work on this project will occur between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Residents are asked for their cooperation and support.
