The Autism Programs at the UNM Center for Development & Disability currently offers presentations for Native American families. The series, “Weaving Colors” will be presented the third Wednesday of each month, 1-2:30 p.m. (MT) in webinar format.
Every month, a new topic will be presented to families over the internet using zoom. This free webinar series will offer an opportunity for participants to engage and discuss the topic, as well as connect with other Native families.
The Weaving Colors training series is open to everyone and offers ASL interpretation.

Participates will review the definition of autism and common characteristics related to ASD. Diana will discuss the educational evaluation process and provide information on what families can expect and how to best prepare for the evaluation and after.
