Warren Scoggins And Sean Thomas Tie For Top Predictor In Atomic City Road Runners Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Warren Scoggins and Sean Thomas tied for top prediction in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR)  weekly pace race held Tuesday on the Burnt Mesa Trail in Bandelier National Monument at 3 seconds off their predicted time. 

Other accurate predictors:

  • Connor Orrison with a 8 second differential;
  • Maddie Harms at 13 seconds off as well as the best female finisher in the 3 mile distance at 32:47;
  • Chris Michel recording a 24 second differential and also the top finisher in the 1 mile race with a time of 9:53; and
  • Jan Velechovsky with a 46 second difference.

In the 1 mile race:

  • Holly Walker was the first female finisher recording a 10:51.

In the 3 mile race:

  • Erik Anderson was the top finisher recording a 21:41.

Next week’s pace race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds on North Mesa Road next to the water tower on North Mesa.

Both 1 mile paved and 5K hybrid distances will be available.
