Virtual Town Hall On Housing Assistance And Sheltering Response Services Available On NMDWS YouTube Channel

ALBUQUERQUE — The virtual town hall held Tuesday on Housing Assistance and Sheltering Response Services is now available on the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) YouTube channel https://youtu.be/ERQboG_1H9o.

NMDWS Secretary Bill McCamley was joined by Lt. Gov. Howie Morales, Mesilla Valley Community of Hope Executive Director Nicole Martinez and University of New Mexico School of Law Professor Serge Martinez. 

Presenters of the virtual town hall discussed programs available for housing assistance, tenant services, and steps to take if facing a possible eviction due to missed rental payments as a result of the pandemic.

All attendees who submitted written questions during the town hall received immediate responses from the panelists.
