Vigil Begins Term As President Of State Realtors Association

Danny Wm. Vigil, broker with Coldwell Banker Legacy, Rio Rancho Office, began his term as 2021 President of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS (NMAR) Friday Jan. 1.

Vigil has nearly 20 years of professional real estate service and experience. In 2002 he was selected as the Albuquerque Board’s Rookie of the Year and in 2016 was named their Salesperson of the Year. In 2018 he served as president of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS.

A fifth generation New Mexico Native son and U.S. Navy veteran, Vigil has served his community as a volunteer for the Young America Football League, Boys Scouts of America, Saint Joseph’s on the Rio Grande, Albuquerque’s Run for the Zoo, the American Diabetes Association’s Step-Out Walk, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

To emphasize the unity and camaraderie of REALTORS across New Mexico, Vigil has selected “Building Our Future Together” as his theme for 2021.

Vigil will serve on the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) REALTOR Safety Advisory Committee in 2021, and as 2021 state president will serve on NAR’s Board of Directors.
