WASHINGTON, D.C. — Questions on how to cook your Thanksgiving Day Turkey or do you need last minute answers about preparing that all important meal?

USDA can help you prepare that perfect meal. You can reach a live expert Thanksgiving Day by calling USDA’s Meat and Poultry Hotline number at 888.MPHOTLINE (888.674.6854).

The hotline will be staffed 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (EST) Thanksgiving Day. Or if you prefer you can go online to get answers to your questions about cooking a turkey.
