Phi Beta Kappa Hosting Picnic At Urban Park Sept. 19

By ERIC CHISOLM & JOYCE ANN GUZIK
Los Alamos Phi Beta Kappa Association

Sunday afternoon, Sept. 19, the Los Alamos Phi Beta Kappa Association will hold a picnic starting at 1:30 p.m. at Urban Park.

Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest undergraduate honor society in the United States, inducting new members annually into its chapters at colleges and universities across the country. PBK has about 260 members in Los Alamos County (1.5% of the county’s population).

Members of PBK and their families are encouraged to join us at the Urban Park pavilion Sunday the 19; please bring your own food and drink as we safely catch up with old friends, make new ones, and plan future social events for the Association.

The picnic will wrap up at 3:30 p.m. to allow members to attend the Los Alamos Concert Association event starting at 4 p.m. at Smith Auditorium.

We request that you RSVP to Eric Chisolm, eric.chisolm@gmail.com, before Sept. 15. We look forward to seeing you Sept. 19.
