UPTE Invites Community To De-Privatization Public Forum

UPTE News:

UPTE invites the community to attend a De-Privatization Public Forum 4-6 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 25 at the Comfort Inn, 2255 Trinity Dr, in Los Alamos.

LANL’s contract will soon be put out for bid and we must get involved to help decide who our next employer should be. Do you want the Labs ran by a for profit group? Or De-Privatized and put back in the hands of a university.

 

What are your concerns?

Benefits? Pension? Scientific integrity and progress? Health and Safety?  

We want to know!

Presentations and Q/A with Jeff Colvin, Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, UPTE Legislative Activists and UPTE President Jelger Kalmijn.
