Los Alamos County Rodeo News:

The Los Alamos Recreation Division will be holding the Los Alamos County Rodeo on Aug.11-12 at Brewer Arena on North Mesa.

See the following information concerning parking and directions to Brewer Arena.

Rodeo Contestants: Rodeo contestants will need to bring their livestock to North Mesa Park for animal inspection. North Mesa Park is located on San Ildefonso Road South, (right lane at the roundabout). Signs will direct contestants to the inspection staging area in the park. Once animals have been inspected contestants will exit North Mesa Park, go west on San Ildefonso Road, turn right on to North Mesa Road, and enter the stable area to Brewer Arena. Signs will be placed at the entrance to the stable area.

Rodeo Spectator Parking: Please take Diamond Drive east; turn right on San Ildefonso Road South heading east. Proceed on San Ildefonso Road to North Mesa Park. Signs in the park will direct spectators to the parking area.

Parade Participants: All parade participants with livestock must have them inspected. Inspections will start at 8 a.m. and are located on Trinity Drive across from the Mari Mac Village Shopping Center. Signs will direct participants into the inspection area.
