Update: A woman found the backpack and turned it in to the Los Alamos Police Department. The owners, Joe and Lynette just told the Los Alamos Daily Post that they have picked up the backpack from the police department and said, ‘We are so grateful to the woman who found it and turned it in … she has restored our faith in humanity!’

A man left his backpack at the carwash at 5:30 p.m. today in Los Alamos and it contains a laptop important to his work.
