COUNTY News:

During the week of Nov. 2, no construction activities are scheduled to occur within the section of DP Road from Trinity Drive to the Fire Training Center.

Work within this section of DP Road is now expected to resume the week of Nov. 9 with trenching activities that will restrict the roadway to one-lane traffic controlled by a flagged/signaled system.  

One-lane traffic restrictions will occur only during hours of construction, potentially 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Access to businesses in this area will be maintained during these activities.

The Contractor is working in the right-of-way to replace existing utilities with upgraded services related to the new Canyon Walk Apartments (under construction) and The Bluffs senior housing (soon to be constructed) by Qualcon Builders, LLC. 

After completion of the Utility work, the roadway reconstruction, including installation of a storm drain, curb and gutter, and sidewalks will begin with the final paving being the last activity.
