Background on Dick McIntyre:
Dick McIntyre, a registered Landscape Architect, began his career following his graduate education and training, as a member of the Peace Corps in 1970, designing parks in Iran. When he returned to this country, he put his horticulture expertise to work at a nursery, and also had his own Landscape Architecture design-build business for several years.
McIntyre began his career as a Parks professional with the public sector starting in 1988, and came to Los Alamos County in 2003. For 10 years he has led his crews to transform the County into a place of beauty, work that continues on after his departure with the Ashley Pond project.
