Senior Deputy Clerk Adrianna Ortiz, left, and County Clerk Sharon Stover today looked over hundreds of ballots that have poured into the Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office since mailed out to registered voters Monday for the UNM-LA mil levy. The Clerk’s Office mailed out 13,831 ballots and 650 have been returned of which three were unsigned. The postmaster returned 200 as undeliverable. Ballots must be physically received in the County Clerk’s Office by 7 p.m., Sept. 17 to be counted. Postmarked envelopes do not count. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
