Post-Eclipse this Saturday afternoon, Oct. 14, United Church Minister for Youth Keith Lewis and Director of Children’s Ministries Laura Loving will facilitate an afternoon of sharing concerns and opportunities for mental health, social awareness and support.

Conversations will take place 1-3 p.m. at the United Church at 2525 Canyon Road, and will focus on issues in the community based on what ideas are brought up in the sessions. Possibilities can include teen pressure and academic concerns, the surge of fentanyl use, depression and mental health, along with support for parenting decisions, finding the fun in childhood and more.

A light lunch and refreshments will be served along with two hours of informal discussion, small group interaction with different age groups and brainstorming for follow-up sessions.
