ALBUQUERQUE — All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closing at noon, 12 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10 for seasonal observance and closed on Monday, Oct. 13, in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.
The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.state.nm.us) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Operations Center are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Labor Day. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
