The Los Alamos High School Varsity Hilltoppers were on the road Friday night against the Pojoaque Elks in week 5 of the season. Their bid to remain undefeated was awarded with a dominating performance against the Elks, which resulted in a 45-7 victory.
The defensive line shut down the Elks with multiple sacks while the offense, led by quarterback Kyle Evenhus, was relentless.
The Hilltoppers return to Sullivan Field at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 for the Homecoming game against Albuquerque Academy. The game will be broadcast on the Los Alamos Daily Post YouTube Channel where Daily Post broadcaster Mike Cote will call the game.
