MUSIC News:
Nothing says Christmas quite like the sound of a choir performing carols. This choir happens to be composed of tubas and euphoniums.
The group came together in 2002, and has played at various venues throughout Los Alamos every holiday season since.
The choir is made up of a core of adult musicians from other groups in Los Alamos (Big Band, Symphony and others), and is augmented by talented high school students. They play an eclectic mix of arrangements specifically created for a tuba choir.
The concert is 7 p.m., Saturday in Kelly Hall at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr. There is no admission charge.
